Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. As a singer, she has played in the margins of music that is traditional and popular since her teens she also plays in other genres like hip-hop soul, and trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela described her voice as sweet and sharp but full of the intensity and abrasions of more experienced singers. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, has been a huge critical and commercial hit. It debuted at the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded an Grammy. The song La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami will be her third album that was full-length. It was a collection of collaborations songwriting with a variety of musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The release date was the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo artist to be a part of Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was also the first woman ever to receive both of these awards.
