Ky-Mani Marley is one of the richest and most well-known Reggae Singer who was born on the 26th of February 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was a part of Shottas a film that has become a legend featuring Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the album was released Like Father Like Son. He has also released a number of singles, such as Judge Not with Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. All of these songs contributed to his growing popularity with the new generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell of Fugees for Avenue in 1997. It was an incredibly popular cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley first performed at the Cameo Theatre in Miami at Midem. At the Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 countries. Marley was engaged in a bidding war. The singer joined Gee Street/V2 Records, where the two worked together in 1997. P.M. Dawn sang on the hit single Gotta Be Movin on up. The wife of Bob Marley Anita Belnavis, a table tennis champion herself is his sole parent. Ky-Mani has been ranked as the most wealthy Jamaican Reggae artists. According to Business Insider and Wikipedia's report, Ky-Mani Marley is worth $5M. He was initially more into playing sports than music, but his mother encouraged him to try it and he began playing the guitar as well as piano. He got his name from East African, which means an adventurous traveler. Ky-Mani Marley (born 26 February, 1976) is an Jamaican reggae and hip-hop artist. He is an East African whose name means "Adventurous Traveler". He is the sole son from Bob Marley with Anita Belnavis who is a Jamaican table tennis player.
